Makes 8 - 14 brownies
Ingredients
1 1/2 Cup Chickpeas (soaked overnight and boiled)
4 tbsp Raw cocoa powder
1/3 cup flour ( spelt, almond, sorghum etc)
1 Red Apple cored, sliced and boiled
3 tbsp pure almond butter
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup raw cocoa nibs
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1tbsp coconut oil
Method
1. Pre heat oven to 165ºC. Grease an 8 inch pan with 1 tbsp of coconut oil
2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth
3. Spread into pan, if desired sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
4. Bake on center rack for 14 minutes, then chill, try not to sneak a bite because they taste better the next day.
Notes
If you are short on time you can use organic canned chickpeas, drain it throughly and wash.
You can also use organic pure applesauce, no sugar
